The sharper your mind game, the more resources you'll be able to tap into at any given moment. And the stronger your mind, the harder it will be to “break” under pressure.
Awareness and control over your breath will allow you to use it to your advantage in a variety of situations, ranging from entering deep relaxation states to "holding your line" in challenging scenarios.
How quickly you interpret and react to bodily sensations (discomfort, fatigue, tension, stress, anxiety, etc) will have a powerful effect on your outcome. Thus, developing deep body awareness and control will be powerful players in your tool kit.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS WORKSHOP
This is a 1:00 hour workshop where we will cover:
Deep breathing exercises to expand lungs and strengthen breathing muscles
Underwater hypercapnic training using rocks (weights) and different styles of locomotion
What to bring: swim costume & goggles/mask, note book & pen

My name is Augusto Vegas and I've dedicated my life to instructing and coaching others on matters related to health, performance, lifestyle and interaction with nature. I founded SURVIVAL APNEA in 2014.
